Natural Formula to treat Irritable bowel syndrome

Researchers from Southern Cross University, Lismore, Australia, have found that a natural formula containing the herbs bilberry, agrimony and cinnamon, alongside slippery elm bark can reduce symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome. The results of this study showed that participants abdominal pain decreased by 19 percent, bloating decreased by 28 percent and straining by 65 percent. At the end of the 4 week study, particpants experiencing frequent episodes of diarrhoea said that they experienced relief from their diarrhoea.
